WE ARE HIRING : HR REGIONAL MANAGER

Location: Plantation Site, Kalimantan, Indonesia

We are a leading palm oil plantation company seeking an experienced and results-oriented HR Manager to lead and manage end-to-end Human Resources operations at our plantation site in Kalimantan.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective HR service delivery, maintaining harmonious industrial relations, strengthening workforce management, and developing sustainable harvester recruitment strategies to support our plantation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Operations: Lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations, including Compensation & Benefits (C&B), Industrial Relations (IR), employee relations, recruitment, and manpower planning.
• Industrial Relations: Manage industrial relations issues, employee grievances, disciplinary matters, dispute resolution, bipartite negotiations, LKS Bipartite, and labor union relations.
• Harvester Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to fulfill harvester manpower requirements through AKAD, AKL, and other applicable recruitment channels.
• HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure the effective implementation of company policies, regulations, SOPs, and employment practices in compliance with applicable Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with estate management, employees, labor unions, government authorities, Disnaker, and other relevant stakeholders.
• People Management: Lead, supervise, and develop the HR team, including Assistant Manager HR, General Affairs (GA), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH/K3), and Housing Management.
• Workforce Effectiveness: Monitor manpower availability, recruitment effectiveness, employee turnover, absenteeism, and other HR performance indicators to support operational productivity.
• Employee Welfare & Site Services: Ensure effective management of employee housing, general affairs services, occupational safety coordination, and employee welfare at the plantation site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resource Management, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 5 years as a Human Resources Regional Manager in Kalimantan area.
• Mandatory experience in the palm oil plantation industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, industrial relations, employment regulations, and dispute resolution.
• Proven experience in Compensation & Benefits, employee relations, disciplinary management, and workforce administration.
• Hands-on experience in harvester recruitment, particularly through AKAD (Antar Kerja Antar Daerah) and AKL (Antar Kerja Lokal), or other applicable recruitment mechanisms.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to be stationed at and work from a plantation site in Kalimantan and regularly travel to other areas.
