HR Service Delivery Practitioner

About the Role

The HR Service Delivery Practitioner supports accurate, timely and compliant HR service delivery across employee lifecycle activities. This is a fixed-term employment opportunity focused on HR case management, operational support, stakeholder coordination and continuous improvement.

The role works with employees and internal teams to resolve HR service requests, maintain data accuracy and deliver a consistent employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR inquiries and cases, determine processing requirements and complete transactions accurately and on time.
• Support employee lifecycle activities, including leave, payroll-related matters, employee changes and exits.
• Gather and validate information required to complete HR transactions and resolve service requests.
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to address processing issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor workload, service delivery progress, risks and issues, escalating matters appropriately when required.
• Prepare operational and management updates on service delivery trends, priorities and issues.
• Maintain accurate process and training documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, service quality and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese at JLPT N2 level or above, required because the role involves regular communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience in HR operations, HR shared services, HR administration, employee services, people operations or a related HR service delivery function.
• Experience processing HR transactions and managing employee lifecycle cases using HR or case management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective problem-solving, stakeholder management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and appropriately escalate operational risks and issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a shared services or complex HR operations environment.
• Experience preparing operational reports or management updates.
• Experience supporting HR process improvement initiatives.

Employment Arrangement

This position is offered on a fixed-term employment basis. Specific employment terms and contract duration will be communicated to candidates during the recruitment process.
