What You’ll Do

HR Shared Services Agent will be responsible for delivering key HR processes, including payroll, employee data management, onboarding, terminations, and other HR administrative tasks in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and local regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in HR payroll operations and a willingness to learn. This role will require collaboration across multiple global and regional teams and time zones. You’ll get to:

• Support end-to-end payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, salary changes, leave updates, reimbursements, deductions, and time and attendance system updates.
• Work closely with internal teams and external payroll providers to validate payroll inputs, prepare payments and reports, resolve employee payroll queries, and maintain payroll records and controls.
• Support statutory compliance, audits, reconciliations, year-end activities, and payroll-related projects while ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements.
• Manage a wide array of HR needs including employee inquiries and HR functional processes while driving innovation and harmonization.
• Create and maintain accurate employee data in the HR system, ensuring compliance with company policies and data integrity standards.
• Take ownership and demonstrate full accountability by responding to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and system navigation in a timely and professional manner.
• Document key processes and strive to find efficiencies and ways to optimize and streamline.
• Use critical thinking skills to resolve and close gaps in all HR related processes and workflows.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Other duties as assigned, dependent on organizational needs and employee skills.

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or other related fields.
• 1-2 years of HR experience to include expertise in HR Shared Services or multi-function HR expertise with a focus on payroll, customer service and quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Fluent Korean speaking skills including verbal & written.
• Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions autonomously as required.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills necessary to interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, project management, and process documentation skills.
• Detail Oriented
• Resilient and able to deal with changing business requirements and challenging situations in a positive and productive manner.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow preferred but not required.
• Ability to work both remote as well as in an office setting.
• Advanced proficiency in English is required; Korean language at intermediate level.
