What they need

At Trendyol HR, we put people at the heart of everything we do. We expand our global talent network, support talent development, and foster an inclusive culture.

Working closely with all teams, we shape and sustain a work environment where people can thrive, while understanding needs and turning them into effective solutions.

Through data- and autonomy-driven processes, we continuously improve how we work and strengthen our culture, building an agile organization that advances our values.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Shared Services & Mobility Intern to join our regional team in Romania. In this hands-on learning role, you will assist in coordinating immigration, expatriate relocations, and core HR administrative workflows across Romania and selected European markets. Working closely with vendors, HR colleagues, and international assignees, you will help maintain compliance trackers, streamline onboarding/offboarding tasks, and support the digitization of our European HR operations—building a solid foundation for a career in global HR.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Romanian immigration procedures, including work permits, residence permits, visas, and documentation checklists for foreign hires and assignees.
  • Maintain central tracking systems for work permits, passports, and residence documents across European countries to ensure timely renewals.
  • Support international assignees throughout their relocation lifecycle with regular check-ins, process guidance, and administrative updates.
  • Coordinate operational workflows with external vendors, including immigration specialists, relocation partners, and Employer of Record (EOR) providers.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, helping prepare contracts, standard letters, and HR documentation across designated EU entities.
  • Assist with updating employee records in HR systems and coordinating monthly joiner/leaver changes with regional payroll partners.
  • Help review vendor invoices for mobility and HR services while identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks and standardize processes.

Expected Qualifications

  • A graduate of Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in international HR, global mobility, immigration frameworks, and cross-border employee experience.
  • Genuine interest in international HR, global mobility, immigration frameworks, and cross-border employee experience.
  • Tech-savvy with good knowledge of productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Outlook) and an aptitude for learning new HR systems quickly.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a reliable approach to managing sensitive employee data.
  • Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills to support employees through relocation and onboarding transitions.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Romanian and English is required.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working model with flexibility: a schedule that helps you find the right balance between flexibility and team bonding, including work-from-abroad opportunities and a summer working model.
  • Personalised training allowance and learning opportunities: Use your annual budget for any training or conference of your choice, explore our Learning Management System (LMS) anytime, and join in-person learning sessions offered throughout the year.
  • Responsibility from day one: Take full ownership from the start in a culture where every voice is heard and valued.
  • A diverse, international team: Collaborate with global peers across our offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, Dubai, and beyond, in a startup-spirited and collaborative environment.
  • Opportunities to grow with the best: Tackle meaningful challenges, develop through hands-on experience, and grow with the support of expert guidance and global mentoring.
  • Meaningful connections beyond tasks: Be part of team rituals, events, and social activities that help us stay connected and inspired.
