HR Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions including benefits administration, leave of absence, HRIS support, and generalist duties. This role offers an opportunity to support a dynamic healthcare company through effective HR practices, ensuring alignment with company goals. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees to support a positive work environment and supporting organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Support benefits administration including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee benefit programs while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law and HR legal standards.
• Oversee HRIS data entry and maintain accurate recordsemployee records.
• Support change management initiatives as related to implementation of new HRIS system.
• Maintain knowledge of employment law in talent management to ensure all HR practices adhere to legal standards.
• Collaborate with leadership on project management tasks related to HR initiatives and organizational improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in human resources with three years experience in a related role.
• Demonstrated expertise in benefits administration, human resources admin support, or related duties.
• Proficiency in HR systems, Paycom preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Experience with payroll processing, personnel administration, and administrative tasks within an HR department environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Human Resources or related fields are preferred.
