HR Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to join UWSUN ECO RESORT in South Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement human resources strategies within a dynamic hospitality and eco-tourism environment. As HR Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our team whilst ensuring compliance with local employment regulations and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of staff across all departments
• Oversee employee records, documentation, and payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and training programmes
• Conduct performance management activities including appraisals, reviews, and disciplinary procedures
• Manage employee relations and act as a point of contact for staff queries and concerns
• Assist with recruitment campaigns and coordinate the interview and selection process
• Support the implementation of health, safety, and wellness initiatives across the resort
• Maintain HR databases and prepare reports on key HR metrics and analytics
• Liaise with external stakeholders including labour authorities and external training providers
• Contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture aligned with our eco-resort values

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience working in an HR role, preferably within hospitality, resort, or tourism environments
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and employment regulations
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition processes
• Understanding of employee relations and conflict resolution
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are advantageous
• Certification or qualification in HR (such as CIPD or equivalent) is preferred
