HR Supervisor

About the role

Our client, a multinational company is seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to join our Human Resources team in Jakarta Selatan. This is a full-time position offering a strategic opportunity to support and develop our workforce whilst maintaining effective HR operations across the organization. As HR Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our people management practices align with company objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process, including coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications and ensuring new hires receive comprehensive induction training

• Administering personnel files, employment contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with Indonesian labour regulations

• Supporting employee relations activities, including handling inquiries, grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and professional manner

• Coordinating payroll processes, BPJS, leave management and benefits administration with relevant departments etc.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and employee handbooks

• Maintaining accurate HR records and generating regular reports on workforce metrics, turnover and compliance matters

• Ensuring adherence to Indonesian employment laws and company HR standards across all people management functions

• Liaising with external partners including recruitment agencies, training providers and legal consultants as needed

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 4–5 years' experience in a generalist HR role or similar position within a professional organization

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment regulations and statutory requirements

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels

• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive personnel matters

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (preferred)

• Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken
