HR Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to join the Human Resources team at Super Candy Corporation. This is a full-time position based in South Caloocan, Metro Manila. As HR Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring effective human resources management across the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR activities, providing guidance to staff, and contributing to the strategic initiatives that drive employee engagement and organisational success.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and new employee orientation
• Managing employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
• Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and company policies
• Supporting the administration of payroll, benefits, and compensation programmes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinating training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression
• Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding processes
• Providing HR support to managers and employees on policy interpretation and best practices
• Monitoring attendance records and managing leave requests and approvals
• Contributing to HR-related data analysis and reporting to support decision-making

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a Human Resources function, ideally within an HR consulting, generalist HR, or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of employment law, labour regulations, and HR best practices relevant to the Philippines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Demonstrated competency in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• A thorough understanding of confidentiality and professional discretion in handling sensitive HR matters
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant HR certifications or qualifications would be advantageous
• Experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity is preferred
