Role & responsibilities

• Monitor the biometric / attendance system on a daily basis and ensure all employees mark their attendance properly.
• Check late coming, early leaving, absenteeism, missing punches, and other attendance discrepancies.
• Coordinate with employees and department supervisors for correction of missing or incorrect attendance entries.
• Maintain daily attendance records and ensure all attendance corrections are properly approved.
• Prepare and submit daily attendance reports to the HR Manager / HR Head.
• Prepare and maintain employee shift schedules and duty rosters.
• Coordinate with department supervisors regarding shift changes, shift rotations, weekly offs, and employee deployment.
• Ensure employees are assigned to the correct shift and attendance is recorded accordingly.
• Maintain employee leave records and update leave details in the attendance / HR system.
• Verify leave applications and ensure approved leave is correctly reflected in attendance records.
• Coordinate with employees and reporting managers regarding leave and attendance discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of overtime worked by employees.
• Verify overtime hours with the concerned department supervisor and obtain necessary approval.
• Prepare monthly overtime statements and submit them to HR / Payroll for processing.
• Immediately escalate any issue, discrepancy, or matter beyond the assigned authority to the HR Manager / HR Head.
• Perform any other HR / Time Office duties assigned by the management from time to time.
