Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Training Specialist to design, implement, and deliver impactful training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth. This role plays a key part in fostering a strong learning culture by supporting onboarding, developing instructional materials, and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization.

The ideal candidate is passionate about adult learning, skilled in both virtual and in-person training delivery, and experienced in evaluating training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in training, learning & development, or instructional design
• Experience as an HR/L&D Generalist, handling multiple training functions (design, facilitation, evaluation, and coordination)
• Proven experience managing the end-to-end training lifecycle
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Proficiency in training tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, Zoom, Articulate, Canva, Google Slides)
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Previous retail industry experience is required

Key Responsibilities

Training Design & Development

• Identify training needs through job analysis, performance evaluations, and stakeholder consultations
• Design and develop engaging learning materials (presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, job aids)
• Customize training programs based on organizational and departmental requirements

Training Delivery & Facilitation

• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions (onboarding, soft skills, compliance, and technical topics)
• Deliver interactive and learner-centered sessions to improve engagement and retention
• Manage training logistics including scheduling, materials, and coordination

Evaluation & Reporting

• Measure training effectiveness using surveys, assessments, and performance metrics
• Analyze feedback and continuously improve training programs
• Maintain accurate training records and generate reports for stakeholders

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with HR and business leaders to align training initiatives with company goals
• Support onboarding and employee development programs
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience in both virtual and classroom training environments
• Background in onboarding and employee engagement programs
• Familiarity with e-learning development tools and content creation
