HR Training Supervisor

About the role

An HR Training Supervisor develops, creates, administers, and evaluates training programs to improve employee skills, match them with company goals, and build a culture of continuous learning. Key tasks include analyzing skill shortages, creating training materials, organizing training delivery, and managing training budgets, as well as mentoring workers and partnering with management to support employee development and organizational success.

Key responsibilities

• Creates and implements an overall training plan for the organization
• Identifies skill and competency gaps and defines the major training requirements for employees and supervisors
• Creates and manages training programs such as onboarding, management development, and career advancement efforts
• Creates and administers the training budget, assigning resources, and reports on spending
• Serves as a mentor to workers, offering comments and assistance to help them advance professionally and build an environment of empowerment
• Ensures that training programs adhere to business rules, procedures, and applicable employment regulations
• Handles various activities, projects, and resources effectively

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a similar subject
• At least 1-3 years in human resources, with a good foundation in employee training
• Supervisory experience and exposure to various HR aspects (e.g., training, performance management, and compliance)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of labor laws, human resource best practices, and disciplinary processes
