Workfast is looking for experienced HR Vacuum Truck Operators to join a leading waste management operation in Townsville, QLD.

We are actively seeking dedicated HR Vacuum Truck Operators to join our Waste Management Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HR Vac Truck
• Carry out vacuum and waste removal operations
• Perform waste management and liquid waste collection duties
• Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety and environmental procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment
• Complete required paperwork and job documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, site personnel and team members
• Assist with general labouring duties when required
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

What You Bring to the Team:

• Current HR Australian Driver's Licence
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles
• Experience in vacuum truck, waste management or a similar role highly regarded
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to work Monday to Friday and complete 10-hour days
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks when necessary
• Professionalism and a commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
