About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Human Resources Director (HRD) to join our team at Konstruksi. This is a full-time position based in Bali, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our human resources strategy. As HRD, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR policies, programmes and initiatives that support our organisational objectives and foster a positive workplace culture. This role is essential to our continued growth and success in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement strategic human resources policies, procedures and programmes aligned with company objectives
• Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to ensure we attract and retain top talent
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management and disciplinary procedures
• Design and deliver training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression
• Administer compensation and benefits packages whilst ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations
• Maintain and update personnel records and ensure all HR documentation is accurate and compliant
• Lead workplace health, safety and wellness initiatives specific to the construction industry
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior management on organisational matters, restructuring and change management
• Monitor and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve organisational effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian employment legislation and industry-specific regulations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in human resources, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sector
• Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law and labour regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships at all organisational levels
• Proficiency in HR information systems and MS Office applications
• Experience in recruitment and talent management programmes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership qualities with the ability to build and manage an HR team
• Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
• Professional certification in HR management (such as CIPD or equivalent) is preferred
