About the role

HRD – Site Balikpapan manages end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing, screening, interview, assessment, to employee onboarding. The role handles mass recruitment for project/site manpower needs, coordinates with project teams on manpower planning, manages employee administration including attendance, contracts, transfers, and HR administration, and addresses HR generalist needs at the site level.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mass recruitment for project/site manpower needs according to company requirements

• Manage employee administration and data, including attendance, employment contracts, transfers, and other HR administration

• Handle HR Generalist needs in the site area

• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating HR SOPs and policies

• Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented according to regulations

• Handle employee relations and labour issues in the work area

• Prepare periodic HR reports for management

• Coordinate with HR Manager regarding site HR needs and issues

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Psychology, Management, Law, or related field

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR, particularly in recruitment and HR Generalist roles

• Experience in recruitment for project/site needs or Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Engineering, or Fabrication industries is preferred

• Mass recruitment experience is an added value

• Understanding of HR SOP development and implementation

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Willing to be placed in Balikpapan and work in site/project areas
