We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate HR Manager to support our growth and contribute to the school's success.

About the role

As the HRD Manager at Darma Yudha School, you will be responsible for leading and managing the school's human resources function. This is a full-time position based in Pekanbaru, Riau. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance. Your strategic leadership will be instrumental in shaping the school's people culture and ensuring Darma Yudha attracts, develops, and retains all top talent in school.

What you'll be doing

1. The development and implementation of HR strategies and policies is essential for aligning with the school's overall objectives.
2. The role involves overseeing the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
3. Designing and delivering training and development programmes to upskill and engage the employee.
4. Fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes employee wellbeing and satisfaction.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
6. Collaborating with leaders across the unit in school to identify and address HR-related challenges is essential for the smooth functioning of the organization.
7. Providing strategic advice and guidance to the management team on people-related matters.
8. Continuously monitor and improve HR processes and practices to drive organizational efficiency.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within the education industry (or at least services industry)
2. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and talent management principles.
3. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to make data-driven decisions.
4. Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
5. Proficiency in HR information systems and data management.
6. A strategic mindset is essential for aligning HR initiatives with the school's overall strategic goals.
