Job Summary

Traffic Tech is looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst – Workday to support, enhance, and optimize our Workday environment. The successful candidate will work closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, configure business processes, develop reporting and analytics, and ensure the effective operation of Workday systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple Workday modules, advanced reporting capabilities, and experience with Workday integrations. Experience with Workday Studio is highly preferred.

This position will work closely with teams and employees primarily located in CST/CDT and EST time zones, so the candidate must be willing and able to work CST/CDT hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an HRIS partner to HR leadership and provide technical support across Workday modules, including:

• Core HCM

• Benefits

• Talent

• Payroll

• Time Tracking

• Advanced Compensation

• Recruiting

• Absence

• Design, configure, enhance, test, and maintain Workday functionality and business processes.

• Maintain Workday business processes, workflows, condition rules, and security settings.

• Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for business stakeholders.

• Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations and data flows.

• Participate in system regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.

• Conduct business analysis and provide recommendations based on business requirements and Workday capabilities.

• Analyze the impact of system changes and recommend appropriate configurations and solutions.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Workday modules.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday system and data issues in collaboration with internal teams and Workday Support.

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, business processes, and data flows.

• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to align Workday capabilities with business requirements.

• Clearly communicate technical information and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant Workday experience.
• Strong experience working with multiple Workday modules.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Reporting and advanced reporting.
• Experience with Workday Security.
• Experience with Workday Integrations.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes and configuration.
• Experience with system testing, regression testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to work CST/CDT hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Studio experience – highly preferred.
• Workday certification(s).
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Experience working with complex Workday integrations and data flows.
