HRIS Analyst

General Summary The HRIS Analyst is responsible for ensuring data quality and creating reports and dashboards for internal clients. The incumbent resolves system issues and provides guidance to end users. The role is involved in improving the system through eliciting requirements, creating and running test scripts, and assisting in the implementation of new solutions as required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains data quality of HRIS, including proper data security, by performing regular data audits and resolving any data integrity issues.
• Collects and analyzes HR data, translating data into appropriate metrics. Prepares reports and participates in the design of HR dashboards. Responds to ad hoc data and report requests.
• Acts as a first point of contact for user guidance and advice. Responds to queries and issues related to supported systems, analyzing the issue to identify the root cause. Solves the issue directly or works with appropriate SMEs/vendors for issue resolution.
• Participates in defining system requirements and testing and deploying solutions. Ensures there is a match between solutions and organizational system needs.
• Provides user support through documentation, developing and facilitating training, and creating supporting materials.
• Reviews and analyzes system functionality and provides recommendations for improvements, documenting any implemented changes. Remains up to date on product developments.

Job Requirements Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in IT, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with an HRIS or other business system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Oracle Fusion
• Minimum 2 years progressive HR experience

• Performs testing and validation (volume testing).
• Develops test cases used at the system/application level.
