HRIS Implementation Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time HRIS Implementation Consultant with hands-on experience implementing Paycor, Paylocity, or Paycom . This consultant will partner with HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders to configure the system, improve workflows, and support a successful implementation from discovery through go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and workflows.
• Support implementation of applicable modules, including core HR, payroll, time and attendance, benefits, recruiting, and onboarding.
• Review existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Assist with data preparation, migration, and validation to ensure accurate employee and payroll information.
• Configure workflows, approval processes, security permissions, and reporting.
• Coordinate with the software vendor and internal teams to manage implementation tasks and resolve issues.
• Develop and execute testing plans, support user acceptance testing, and troubleshoot system discrepancies.
• Provide administrator and end-user training, process documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Support go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated implementation experience with at least one of the following platforms: Paycor, Paylocity, or Paycom .
• Hands-on experience with system configuration, data migration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes and how they translate into system requirements.
• Ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate with stakeholders in a consulting environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Availability for a part-time engagement, with weekly hours determined by project needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting multiple HRIS implementations.
• Experience with integrations, custom reporting, and workflow automation.
• Experience training HR and payroll teams and providing post-go-live support.

Details

• Contract work, part time
• 1099 or C2C engagements paid on an hourly basis
• Pay is weekly and the rate is DOE
