HRMS Project Manager-Independent Contractor

Intechsol Corp is a technology solutions company based in Puerto Rico. It helps organizations modernize their operations through software implementation, integration and consulting. Intechsol is looking for an experienced independent Project Manager to lead UKG Workforce Ready (UKG Ready) implementation projects for its clients.

Engagement overview

This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment position. You will provide project management services on a project basis.

Scope of services

• Lead UKG Workforce Ready (UKG Ready) implementations from start to finish: kickoff, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, go-live and post-go-live support.
• Set up and maintain project plans, timelines, risk logs and status reports.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Finance and IT) to keep scope, budget and deliverables on track.
• Lead discovery sessions and turn business requirements into solutions in modules such as HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Scheduling and Benefits.
• Manage change requests, issue resolution and escalations.
• Make sure each project milestone has documented sign-off and is handed over smoothly to support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Education or certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum or similar). PMP preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience implementing HRMS/HCM software (UKG Ready/Workforce Ready, UKG Pro, ADP, Workday, Dayforce or similar).
• Hands-on experience with UKG Workforce Ready / UKG Ready is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, stakeholder management and risk management.
• Professional English proficiency (written and spoken) is required. You will work directly with clients in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work on your own and manage several projects remotely.
• Experience with project tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
