HR/Payroll Manager

Vivo Healthcare – Gandy is seeking a highly organized and motivated HR/Payroll Manager to lead our human resources and payroll functions in a dynamic post-acute care environment. This role is essential to ensuring our team members are supported, policies are followed, and payroll runs smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead all aspects of HR and payroll administration for the facility
• Process employee onboarding, benefits, payroll changes, and timekeeping
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records in compliance with federal and state laws
• Ensure regulatory compliance, wage/hour adherence, and timely reporting
• Partner with leadership on employee relations, hiring, performance management, and training
• Coordinate new hire orientation, background checks, and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain attendance records, handle disciplinary documentation, and conduct exit interviews

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of HR/payroll experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting – REQUIRED
• Solid knowledge of employment law, wage & hour regulations, and personnel administration
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems – Empeon a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus
• SHRM or PHR Certification
