HRSS Specialist – Timekeeper

About the role

A Timekeeper maintains accurate and up-to-date records of employee hours and overtime, ensuring payroll reports are delivered on time. The role involves coordinating with supervisors on timesheet updates, validating payroll reports, and managing attendance and leave requests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee hours and overtime – ensures that payroll report is delivered on time
• Closely coordinate with supervisor in update employee's timesheet – update time in and time out, work schedule approves overtime hours
• Perform validation of payroll report every pay cycle
• Review & approve absence requests based on leave policy and guidelines
• Respond to inquiries and escalations regarding attendance disputes
• Process attendance or timesheet corrections received from ticketing system

About you

• Completion of a relevant college course with working experience on timekeeping or payroll processing
• High precision in data entry to prevent payroll discrepancies
• Proficiency in data entry, spreadsheets (Excel), and digital timekeeping or HRIS software
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle employee inquiries and escalations
• Able to work on flexible working hours and/or extended hours to meet payroll timelines
