Backed by a global group, the business is committed to strengthening safety and wellbeing across its operations. This is an opportunity to influence HSE performance across a geographically dispersed national sales workforce, where safety extends well beyond the traditional manufacturing environment.
The Role
Reporting to the HSE Manager - Sales, you’ll support health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across the national sales workforce, partnering with leaders to strengthen safety culture, reduce risk and improve injury management outcomes.
This is a hands-on, collaborative role combining practical HSE advice, coaching and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with sales leaders to implement HSE initiatives and improve safety performance.
- Provide practical advice on HSE legislation, policies and compliance.
- Identify workplace risks and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Support injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
- Facilitate safety training across manual handling, driving and other critical risks.
- Analyse HSE data, identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support HSE audits, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Background
You’ll be a proactive HSE professional who enjoys partnering with operational teams, influencing behaviours and driving practical safety improvements.
You’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ HSE experience, ideally within FMCG, logistics, distribution or a field-based environment.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation.
- Experience supporting injury management and return-to-work processes.
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyse HSE data and translate insights into practical improvements.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to influence leaders.
