WestLink Workforce is currently seeking an experienced HSE Advsior to join a leading and well-established civil construction operator on an exciting long-term project.

ABOUT THE ROLE
 
As the HSE Advsior, you will work closely with the project and site leadership teams to ensure a safe, compliant and proactive working environment.
 
You'll be responsible for:

• Providing practical HSE advice and support across site operations
• Conducting site inspections, audits and safety observations
• Identifying hazards and implementing effective risk controls
• Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
• Facilitating toolbox meetings, pre-starts and safety initiatives
• Maintaining WHS documentation, registers and reporting
• Supporting risk assessments, SWMS and JHAs
• Monitoring compliance with WHS legislation, policies and project requirements
• Promoting a positive safety culture across the workforce
• Working closely with supervisors, managers and workers to drive continuous improvement

We're looking for a proactive HSE professional who isn't afraid to get out on site, build relationships and have a genuine influence on safety performance.
You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within civil construction, mining or infrastructure
• Relevant HSE qualifications
• Strong knowledge of WA HSE legislation and construction safety requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
• Current Australian work rights
