Our Temporary Contracting Division specialises in HSE opportunities across the mining and resources sector, supporting mining contractors, engineering businesses, construction companies and specialist service providers working across major projects and operations.

We work across a range of short and long-term contracts, from urgent leave coverage and shutdowns through to project-based and ongoing site requirements.

The Opportunities

We are currently seeking experienced HSE Advisors for FIFO and Perth-based contract opportunities across WA.

Our temporary contracting desk supports HSE requirements across:

• Mining services and mining contractors
• SMP, mechanical and electrical projects
• Engineering, construction and major projects
• Shutdowns, maintenance and turnaround projects
• Processing plants and fixed plant projects
• Civil construction and infrastructure projects
• Industrial construction and maintenance
• Oil & gas and energy projects
• Renewables and power projects
• Heavy lift, logistics and specialised transport
• Demolition, remediation and decommissioning
• Rail and mining infrastructure
• HSE systems, compliance and documentation-focused roles
• HSE project support and systems implementation
• Document control, reporting and audit-focused positions
• Perth-based HSE roles supporting mining and resources projects

We have a variety of roster and contract options available, including:

• 8:6, 2:1, 2:2 and other roster variations
• Short-term leave coverage through to 6+ month contracts
• Shutdown and project-specific assignments
• FIFO and Perth-based opportunities
• Weekly pay – PAYG or ABN
• Competitive hourly rates based on experience, roster and project requirements

What We're Looking For

To be considered for these opportunities, you will have:

• Minimum Cert IV in WHS
• 2+ years' experience post-qualification
• Previous site-based HSE experience within mining, resources, construction, engineering or heavy industry
• Experience working within project, contractor or operational environments
• The ability to step onto a site or project and work confidently with frontline teams and management
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different contract environments
• Strong understanding of Australian HSE legislation, systems and site requirements
• Current Australian work rights

Highly Regarded

The following experience will be highly regarded:

• Previous experience with Tier 1 mining or mining services contractors
• SMP, mechanical, electrical or construction experience
• Shutdown and maintenance experience
• Processing plant or fixed plant exposure
• Civil and infrastructure experience
• Oil & gas, energy or renewables experience
• Heavy lift, crane, logistics or specialised transport experience
• Demolition, remediation or decommissioning experience
• Experience working across major projects
• Cert IV Training & Assessment (TAE)
• ICAM or other incident investigation qualifications
• Strong auditing, risk assessment and investigation capability
• HSE management systems, reporting and document control experience
• Experience implementing or maintaining HSE systems
• Previous FIFO experience and exposure to remote project environments
• Openness to considering different roster patterns depending on the opportunity
