About the Role

The HSE & Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Swiss, EU, and Coesia Group HSE requirements, fostering a strong safety culture, and supporting the achievement and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. The role acts as the main interface with Coesia Group on HSE matters and reports to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities will be :

• Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with legal, customer, and Group HSE requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver training, awareness programs, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Support project, site, and field-service activities from an HSE perspective.
• Serve as the primary HSE contact for Coesia Group.
• Ensure alignment with Group standards, reporting requirements, and sustainability objectives.
• Prepare HSE reports, KPI dashboards, and support Group audits and improvement initiatives.
• Lead implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Coordinate internal, certification, and surveillance audits.
• Manage documentation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability targets.
• Monitor waste, energy, emissions, and hazardous materials management.
• Support local and Group environmental reporting.

Facilities Management (second-stage implementation, reporting to Head of Operations)

• Oversee facilities, utilities, infrastructure, security systems, and maintenance activities.
• Manage contractors, facility projects, budgets, and statutory compliance.
• Support workplace improvements, renovations, and expansions.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree in HSE, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing, machinery, automation, engineering, or similar industries.
• Experience with ISO management systems, certification projects, and field-service environments.
• Multinational company experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and European HSE regulations.
• Expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and project management skills.
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach with high integrity and accountability.
