HSE & Risk General Manager

We are looking for an experienced and strategic HSE & Risk General Manager to lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Risk Management functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HSE and enterprise risk strategies, strengthening a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing key operational risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

-       He has to have a depth of process-safety experience, particularly, exposure to hydrocarbon processing, polymerization, high-pressure systems, flammable/toxic chemicals, fire/explosion scenarios and   major-accident prevention.

-       Develop and implement the company's HSE & Risk Management strategy, policies, standards, and programs in alignment with business objectives.

-       Lead the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, and Risk Management systems across all business operations.

-       Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, permits, and industry requirements.

-       Identify, assess, and manage operational, strategic, environmental, and occupational safety risks.

-       Establish and maintain an effective risk assessment, risk register, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting framework.

-       Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, environmental events, and other HSE-related issues, including corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

-       Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, HSE, Mechanical Engineering,   Environmental Science or related discipline

-       Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE/HSSE, Minimum 10 years in a senior managerial HSE position

-       Strong experience in petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, refinery, polymer, or other high-hazard process industries.

-       Experience with management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 31000 will be highly valued.

-       Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.

-       Risk-based decision making

Preferred Certifications

Candidates with relevant professional certifications such as:

-       AK3 Umum / AK3 Specialist

-       ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

-       Risk Management certification

-       NEBOSH / equivalent international HSE certification

-       Understand Process Safety Management, certified is preferred

-       Understand HAZOP / LOPA / SIL / Industrial All Risk Insurance

-       Other relevant HSE, environmental, or risk management certifications
