Tindol Construction HSE Requirements

· Administered the project safety programs to maintain a safer and healthy work environment.

· HSE Coordinators shall assist with identification and mitigation of jobsite hazards and work alongside site management for implementation of identified corrective process.

· Administering drug and alcohol program. Collect and document all pre-employment drug screens, email MRO all COC’s and secure all COC’s for 1 year.

· Serve as technical advisors to their project management team on safety and health planning, training, and problem resolution issues.

· Be a visible presence in the field as much as possible and be an active champion of safety through observation and coaching.

· Provide appropriate PPE and use enforced. Keep PPE inventory and order as project requires. Provide PPE as per client requirements and hazard assessments.

· Enforce Tindol’s Construction’s health and safety program procedures. Accompany Tindol supervisory personnel and perform joint Safety inspections of work areas and activities daily. 5 Safety Inspections per week per project.

· Review and correct JSA’s for effective and efficiency and that the job steps and corrective procedures documented by field employees.

· Provide Foreman with daily safety topics for the toolbox/ meetings or safety meetings.

· Review safety meeting reports for attendance.

· Attend and periodically conduct toolbox/tailgate meetings to evaluate their effectiveness.

· Conduct safety-training, testing and recordkeeping for all employees Tindol Orienation, Heavy Equipment, Spotter Operator, Haz-Com ect.

· Support and Promote Tindol’s BBS Program.

· Track, and analysis of safe, and unsafe behaviors, near misses and Stop Work incidents. Manage the data on a spreadsheet to have quarterly numbers.

· Scan all safety documentation on to the one drive to track, monitor and measure overall safety culture efficiency.

· Coordinate Operations to develop Safe Working Operating Procedures.

Skills and Knowledge

· Ability to recognize hazardous situations & recommend corrective measures is essential.

· Thorough understanding of all federal, state, and local regulations

· Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel.)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow- up skills.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities, as necessary.

· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a cheerful outlook.

· Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

· Ability to be initiative-taking, initiative-taking, and an effective collaborator.

Qualifications:

OSHA 30 Minimum Requirement

OSHA 510

OSHA 500 Construction Outreach Trainer

CHST or Equivalent

Work Experience:

2-3 Years HSE Field

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· General work environment – sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.

· Work setting 70% Field and 30% Office

· Environmental conditions will vary.

· Noise level varies based on location.

· Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
