HSE Coordinator

Position Overview

• Job Title: HSE Coordinator / WSHC (Workplace Inspector - Occupational Safety)

• Industry Focus: Civil Engineering & Pipe Laying Infrastructure Projects

• Salary Range: S$2,600 to S$3,500 per month (commensurate with experience)

• Availability: Able to start work on short notice

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance & Inspections: Conduct routine site safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to statutory requirements, company rules, and safe work procedures.
• Risk & Incident Management: Assist in reviewing risk assessments, managing Permit-to-Work (PTW) applications, and supporting incident or near-miss investigations (root cause analysis and corrective actions).
• Training & Communication: Coordinate and conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and HSE training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
• System Maintenance: Maintain accurate site WSH and environmental records, support the implementation of the HSE Management System, and assist in compiling performance reports.
• Emergency Preparedness: Help organize and coordinate emergency response drills, tabletop exercises, and checks on safety equipment readiness.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Core Certifications:

  • Level B - Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)
  • Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (CSSA)
  • Managing Work-At-Height (WAH)
  • BizSafe Level 2 - Risk Management
  • Lifting Supervisor / Crane Safety Certification

• Preferred Credentials: Internal Audit Certification, valid driving license, and own vehicle.

• Background Preference: Prior working background with PUB, SP Group, or LTA infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
