Junior HSE Coordinator, Wind Farm Project, Regional WA

Looking to take the next step in your HSE career? This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified HSE professional or a junior safety advisor looking to break into the renewable energy sector.

We’re seeking a motivated Junior HSE Coordinator to join a wind farm project in regional Western Australia on a 10-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a major renewable energy project, work alongside experienced industry professionals and build your skills in a growing sector.

The Opportunity

• Location: Regional WA – Wind Farm Project
• Roster: 2:1 FIFO roster, departing from Perth (must be Perth based)
• Contract: 10 months
• Rate: $720 per day + superannuation on top
• Accommodation & Food provided!

About the Role

Working alongside the project team, you’ll help promote a strong safety culture and support the implementation of health, safety and environmental requirements across the wind farm site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation of HSE policies, procedures and site safety requirements.
• Conducting site inspections and assisting with hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Participating in toolbox talks, pre-starts and safety meetings.
• Assisting with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitoring compliance with relevant WHS legislation and project requirements.
• Engaging with workers and contractors to promote safe work practices.
• Maintaining HSE documentation and reporting.

About You

This role would suit someone who is keen to learn, proactive and passionate about building a career in health, safety and environment.

To be considered, you’ll need:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
• A genuine interest in health, safety and environmental management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work on a 2:1 FIFO roster, departing from Perth.

Previous HSE experience in construction, mining, infrastructure or renewables would be advantageous, but this is an excellent opportunity for someone newly qualified and ready to get their foot in the door.
