HSE Engineer

Job Title: HSE Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety requirements across construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client requirements and approved safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and HSE training for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents/near misses, prepare reports and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant HSE experience in general contracting.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH certification preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Strong communication and site coordination skills.

Experience:

• General Contracting / Civil Construction: 5 years (Preferred)
