HSE Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards and risks.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, project requirements, and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, and HSE reports.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, training, and toolbox meetings for site personnel.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe working practices.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, and site teams regarding HSE matters.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe work procedures.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, and incident reports.
• Support emergency preparedness and conduct emergency drills when required.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, HSE, or a related field.
• Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH / IOSH is preferred.
• Proven experience as an HSE Engineer in high-rise building or major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and risk management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
• Candidates available immediately or within 30 days are preferred.
