HSE Engineer

HSE Engineer – Landscaping & Construction

Perfect Technical Works & Landscaping LLC is looking for an experienced and proactive HSE Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE experience in landscaping, construction, swimming pool, MEP, or infrastructure projects, with a solid understanding of site safety and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement appropriate control and preventive measures.
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, JSA, toolbox talks, and HSE reports.
• Monitor compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client requirements, and project safety procedures.
• Conduct site inductions, safety briefings, toolbox talks, and HSE training for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare corrective action reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe working practices.
• Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, lifting, work at height, hot work, electrical works, and confined-space activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to address safety concerns.
• Maintain proper HSE documentation, inspection records, permits, and compliance reports.
• Support emergency preparedness, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, swimming pool, MEP, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
• IOSH certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and construction site safety practices.
• Experience in risk assessments, method statements, incident investigations, and safety inspections.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage HSE requirements across multiple project sites.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
