HSE Engineer

Work Location: Al Ain

Roles:

· Implement and maintain the organization's HSEQ management systems.

· Conduct safety inspections and assessments.

· Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ procedures.

· Provide HSEQ training to employees, contractors, and visitors.

· Prepare HSEQ reports and presentations for management review.

· Participate in HSEQ meetings.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

· Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

· Collaborate with other departments to integrate HSEQ considerations into all aspects of operations.

· Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the HSEQ management systems.

Responsibilities:

· Implement and maintain the organization's HSEQ management systems in accordance with international standards.

· Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify and eliminate hazards.

· Develop procedures for incident investigation, reporting, and follow-up.

· Provide HSEQ training to employees, contractors, and visitors.

· Assist with the preparation of HSEQ reports and presentations for management review.

· Conduct Site HSEQ meetings and coordinate the implementation of action plans.

· Review and update compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

· Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure that HSEQ considerations are integrated into all aspects of operations.

· Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the HSEQ management systems and recommend improvements.

Accountability:

The HSE Engineer is accountable for ensuring that the organization's HSEQ management systems are implemented and maintained, and that the organization operates in a safe and healthy environment, in compliance with all applicable regulations, and with a focus on continuous improvement. The HSE Engineer is also accountable for providing HSEQ training to employees, contractors, and visitors, and for participating in HSEQ meetings and implementing action plans. HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations and for promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field.

. NEBOSH IGC certificate / OSHAD certificate

· At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.

· Knowledge of international HSEQ management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Fluency in English. Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,500.00 per month
