Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

• Develop, implement, and maintain Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, prepare reports, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Organize and conduct WSH training, toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and emergency preparedness exercises.
• Maintain accurate WSH records, statutory registers, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on WSH-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other applicable statutory requirements.

Fire Safety Manager (FSM)

• Perform the duties of the appointed Fire Safety Manager in accordance with the Singapore Fire Code and SCDF requirements.
• Develop, implement, and review the Fire Emergency Plan (FEP) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Organize and coordinate fire drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and fire safety awareness programmes.
• Conduct regular inspections of fire protection systems, fire exits, emergency equipment, and means of escape to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with SCDF, building management, and service contractors on fire safety inspections, maintenance, testing, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain all fire safety records, certificates, inspection reports, and statutory submissions.

Facilities Management (FM)

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of office, warehouse, and company facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient working environment.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors for maintenance, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, security, and other facility services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion.
• Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, etc.) and implement cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure facilities comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and manage office relocations, renovations, fit-out works, and facility improvement projects.
• Manage facility-related budgets, procurement of supplies and equipment, and cost control initiatives.
• Prepare periodic reports and recommendations on facility performance, maintenance, and improvement projects.
• Support business continuity planning, crisis management, and other general administrative responsibilities related to facilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
• Certification in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or NEBOSH/ISO 45001 preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in HSE and facility management, ideally in logistics, manufacturing, or marine/offshore.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk management, and environmental practices.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and facility maintenance.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and facility/HSE management systems.
