HSE Executive

Job Summary

As HSE officer, the primary role is to manage and maintain all HSE and compliance documentation, ensuring that records, reports, and procedures adhere to regulatory standards, including ISO14001, ISO45001, and Scheduled Waste Regulations. This position supports audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions by ensuring accurate, organized, and up-to-date HSE documentation across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Overall assisting HSE Manager responsible to ensure all HSE & Compliance related matters are compliant to DOSH, DOE, MOH, BOMBA and other local authorities while maintaining the HSE practices at the company consistent with the ISO14001 and ISO45001 with supporting role in the ISO9001 and ISO29001 implemented.
• Overall responsible to ensure compliance with ISO standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 29001) or any other relevant standards applicable to the organization, facilitates effective document control processes, and supports internal & external audits to maintain quality management systems.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding ISO-related documentation and processes as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote awareness of ISO requirements, communicate changes in ISO standards and regulatory requirements as relevant to stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the ISO management system.
• To be overall responsible for the day-to-day compliance monitoring and enforcement for HSE issues in particular for the plant, off sites and logistics operations.
• Assist the HSE & Compliance Manager to manage all necessary report to comply with Jadual Pematuhan or Scheduled Waste Regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/HSE or any relevant field.
• Familiar with OSHA & EQA regulations and requirements.
• Green book holder.
• CePSWAM competent person.
• Strong problem – Analysis solving and trouble shooting skills & essentials.
• Coaching, teaching & training ability.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
• Able to work in Demak Laut, Sarawak
