HSE Manager (Chemicals)

Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain Management, South East Asia

Core Responsibilities

• Organize and implement HSE program based on request from local site management in accordance with company needs
• Ensure that HSE processes match local legal requirements and company compliance rules
• Support in developing processes and procedures that improve the quality of HSE management outcome
• Conduct risk assessment and undertake corrective and preventive measures to ensure a proper environment and health for the organization
• Ensure all employees are properly informed about the working, environmental and safety policies of the organization; ensure visitors are aware of the basic HSE rules
• Prepare reports and presentations regurlarly (e.g. TIR reports) for all employees or specified management
• Review and update internal HSE policies and procedures
• Renew/apply for permits/certificates needed for chemical production w.r.t. local laws
• Execute internal audits and support external audits on HSE topics
• Support in Global HSE audits at other sites if needed
• Manage the local site security team
• Might be partially involved in projects
• Continuous Implementation of ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 documentation and any update in Business Process are being reflected into the Management System Documentation.
• Implementation of Operational HSE System in the company Indonesia site comply to company Global requirement and as per Local Regulation.

Qualifications:

• Related University degree
• Min. 6 years of progressive work experience in Chemical Industry
• Fluent in English language
• Advanced level of learning ability
• Experience in project management
• Minimum Academic / Colleges (local / abroad), preferably bachelor degree from Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Some formal courses / training on ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 version. Preferably to have lead auditor training certificate.
• Some formal courses on HSE / Basic Safety. Prefer-ably to have General OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) Practicioner certi-ficate (Ahli K3 Umum) & Chemical OHS Practicioner (Ahli K3 Kimia) certificate
• Minimum 2 years as leading the ISO team preferably as MR or ISO Coordinator (including accreditations and audits). Preferably the ISO experience is also including ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018
• Minimum 3 years as Safety Officer / HSE Officer / representative in HSE Committee (P2K3 : Panitia Pembina Keselamatan & Kesehatan Kerja).
• Preferably has the experience as HSE Assistant Manager or HSE Manager.
