What they need

Site Leadership & Project Execution

  • Direct daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, labor forces, and engineering teams to keep project milestones strictly on schedule.
  • Manage site logistics and resource allocation, including materials, heavy machinery, and equipment, minimizing downtime and structural waste.
  • Troubleshoot structural or operational bottlenecks on the fly, providing immediate technical solutions while maintaining design integrity.
  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for clients, consultants, and senior management, providing transparent, data-driven progress updates.

HSE Governance & Hazard Mitigation

  • Design, implement, and enforce robust site-specific HSE plans tailored to the unique risks of the project layout.
  • Conduct continuous hazard assessments and job safety analyses (JSA), proactively identifying and neutralizing risks before they cause injury or delay.
  • Lead dynamic safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills, fostering an active "safety-first" culture among all site personnel.
  • Manage incident reporting and root-cause investigations with absolute precision, immediately deploying corrective and preventive measures.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Enforce strict compliance with national and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and local structural codes.
  • Supervise permit-to-work (PTW) systems for high-risk operations, including working at heights, confined spaces, and hot works.
  • Maintain meticulous site documentation, including daily logs, HSE metrics, safety registers, and compliance certificates.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a highly related technical discipline.
  • Professional Certifications: Mandatory internationally recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30-Hour, or IOSH Managing Safely).
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in site management, with at least 3 years directly overseeing heavy structural safety frameworks (e.g., construction, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects).
  • Technical Competencies: Deep knowledge of structural blueprints, project scheduling software (like Primavera P6 or MS Project), and emergency response protocols.
  • Leadership Traits: Assertive communication style, commanding presence on-site, exceptional crisis-management capabilities, and an unyielding commitment to regulatory ethics.
