​ENTAG is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer for a major environmental and civil infrastructure project involving heavy earthworks, excavation, geosynthetic lining systems, drainage, concrete works, and active heavy-equipment operations.

The candidate will implement and monitor HSE procedures at project sites, ensuring safe working practices across earthworks and infrastructure activities. conducting daily site inspections, toolbox talks, risk assessments, reporting unsafe conditions, monitoring PPE compliance, and supporting incident investigations. work closely with site teams to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

​Key Responsibilities:

· ​Perform daily site HSE inspections, enforcing work permits (PTW), risk assessments (RAMS/JSA), and mandatory PPE compliance.

· Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and requirements on project sites.

· Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, acts, and potential hazards.

· Ensure compliance with approved Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Work Procedures.

· Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, earthworks, road construction, lifting operations, heavy equipment, and work near existing utilities.

· Conduct daily Toolbox Talks and safety briefings for workers and site personnel.

· Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.

· Monitor excavation and trenching activities and ensure appropriate protective measures are in place.

· Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, and accidents to the HSE Manager.

· Assist in accident and incident investigations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

· Ensure emergency procedures are communicated and followed by site personnel.

· ​Supervise high-risk operations, including heavy machinery movement, deep trench excavations, slope stability, lifting, HDPE welding, and work at height.

· ​Stop unsafe acts or conditions immediately and report all near-misses, incidents, and environmental concerns to the HSE Manager.

· ​ maintain daily HSE site logs, inspection registers, and emergency response preparations.

​Mandatory Requirements:

· ​Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or relevant technical discipline.

· ​5+ years of dedicated site HSE experience on civil infrastructure, earthworks, or heavy engineering construction sites.

· ​Previous UAE/Abu Dhabi site experience – mandatory.

· ​NEBOSH IGC .

· ​Solid practical knowledge of ADOSH-SF standards and Abu Dhabi OSH site requirements.

· ​Fluent English and ability to speak/understand Urdu – mandatory.

· ​Available for full-time site work in Al Ain.

· Appointment is subject to technical interview and Employer/Engineer approval.

· ​Preferred: Landfill/waste-management project experience, ADPHC Qudorat registration, valid UAE driving licence, and immediate availability.
