HSE Officer

Your responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and continual improvement of the site's ISO45001 Health and Safety Management System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with relevant UK health and safety and environmental legislation and company standards.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training.
• Support risk assessments, safe systems of work, and permit-to-work processes.
• Analyse safety performance data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities and drills.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to promote a positive safety culture.
• Assist with contractor management and site safety compliance activities.

Your profile:: 

• Personality: Team player, strong influencing skills, self motivated, flexible approach to work
• Working method: team-orientated, methodical, solution orientated, ability to work independently
• Experiences and know-how: professional  safety and environmental experience
• knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, IRCA qualified auditor desirable
• Qualification: NEBOSH General certificate essential,
• Languages: fluent in English
