About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental activities at our recycling facility and warehouse in Dubai. Immediate joiners preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices
- Prepare and implement risk assessments, HIRA/JSA, SOPs, and HSE documentation
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and segregation of hazardous materials and batteries
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and emergency drills
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor fire safety equipment, housekeeping, and waste management
- Maintain HSE records and support audits
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE and local authority regulations
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification
- Experience in warehouse, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, fire safety, and emergency response
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
