HSE Officer - Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer with DM/RTA approval to join our Construction Supervision team for infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring compliance with HSE standards, Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA regulations, and UAE safety requirements while promoting a safe and compliant construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure contractor compliance with project HSE plans, UAE regulations, and DM/RTA requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments for infrastructure works.
• Monitor high-risk activities, including excavations, lifting operations, confined spaces, work at height, and traffic management.
• Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, JSAs, and Permit-to-Work documentation.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and maintain HSE records.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
• IOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety, or OSHA certifications are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of UAE experience as an HSE Officer on infrastructure projects.
• Construction Supervision Consultant experience is mandatory.
• Experience in roads, highways, bridges, utilities, drainage, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) and/or RTA approval is mandatory.
