HSE Supervisor

Drawlines Consult WLL is looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory HSE role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising HSE activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily HSE activities at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations, and workplace audits.
• Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Monitor compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), risk assessments, and method statements.
• Conduct and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and HSE training.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
• Ensure proper implementation of emergency response and safety procedures.
• Monitor the use of PPE and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, supervisors, engineers, and workers to resolve HSE issues.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Support internal and client HSE audits and inspections.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project/site.
• Ensure environmental and housekeeping requirements are properly maintained.
• Provide HSE guidance and support to site personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE/Safety, including significant experience in a supervisory role.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is mandatory.
• Relevant Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Recognized HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessment, PTW, toolbox talks, incident investigation, and site inspections.
• Experience working on Oil & Gas projects and industrial/construction sites.
• Good knowledge of applicable HSE standards and client requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to supervise site activities and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
• Candidates available to join at short notice are preferred.

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years of HSE/Safety experience
• Supervisory-level experience
• Oil & Gas experience is mandatory
• Relevant HSE qualification/certification
• Strong knowledge of site safety, PTW, risk assessment, inspections, and incident reporting
