About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive HSEQ Administrator to provide administrative and coordination support across our health, safety, environmental and quality activities.

Working closely with operational teams and support functions, you will help ensure our HSEQ systems, records and processes remain accurate, current and effectively implemented across the business.

You will act as a central point of coordination for HSEQ information, supporting document control, audits, training and competence records, incident administration, accreditations and performance reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant administrative or coordination experience who would like to build a long term career within HSEQ.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of our HSEQ management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Managing controlled HSEQ documents, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments, forms and records.
  • Maintaining compliance registers, electronic filing systems and an organised library of supporting evidence.
  • Coordinating audits, inspections, management reviews and certification assessments, including tracking actions through to completion.
  • Administering incident, near-miss, hazard, environmental event and non-conformance records and supporting corrective-action tracking.
  • Maintaining training and competence records, monitoring qualification expiry dates and coordinating inductions, refresher training and course bookings.
  • Gathering and checking performance data and helping to prepare dashboards, monthly reports, statistics and trend analysis.
  • Supporting accreditations, prequalification renewals, HSEQ communications, meetings and employee engagement activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in an HSEQ administrative, coordination or similar business support role.
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience managing multiple tasks, deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, registers, electronic filing systems and action trackers.
  • Confidence preparing reports, spreadsheets, meeting papers or presentations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify missing information and follow up overdue actions.
  • Professional communication skills and confidence working with colleagues at different levels of an organisation.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • An awareness of UK health and safety requirements and ISO management systems would be advantageous.
  • Internal auditor, environmental awareness, sustainability, quality management or document control training would be desirable.

Why Join Plowman Craven?

  • 25 days’ annual leave, increasing to 30 days with service, plus bank holidays
