Kinetic is seeking a dedicated HSEQ & Compliance Systems Coordinator on a 6 month fixed term basis to join our team and drive the continuous improvement of our practices, processes, and procedures.
This is a key role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence HSEQ performance systems across the business while ensuring compliance at both a National and Depot level.
About the Role:
As the HSEQ & Compliance Systems Coordinator, you will play an integral part in supporting the HSEQ and Compliance Team in maintaining and improving our systems, ensuring their integrity and consistent upkeep. You will be responsible for conducting analysis, producing reports, and coordinating audits to maintain compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems and Database Management: Oversee the Health and Safety Management System, Environmental Management System, and Quality Management System, ensuring they are up-to-date and in line with regulations.
- Compliance and Reporting: Administer and support procurement processes, manage internal and external contractor compliance, and prepare trend analysis and data reporting for the Board and HSEQ Committees.
- Audit Coordination: Lead the coordination of internal and external audits, ensuring all action steps are followed up and reported.
- Training and Communication: Oversee HSEQ and Compliance training matrices, manage training plans, and prepare internal communications for HSEQ matters.
- Emergency Management: Develop and manage a schedule for emergency drills and training.
- Systems Administration: Act as the Global Administrator for Assura, ensuring event monitoring, management of change, and tracking inspection outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in health and safety within an industrial or operational environment, with a strong understanding of New Zealand health and safety legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- High computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to analyse and summarise HSEQ data for reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple systems and meet reporting deadlines.
A relevant health and safety qualification is highly desirable, along with experience using online health and safety management systems. Experience with the ACC Accredited Employer Programme or in highly safety-sensitive environments is an advantage.
If you are passionate about HSEQ and compliance systems and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
