HSES Trainer

Job Summary: Responsible for planning, developing, and conducting HSES training programs to ensure that employees, workers, and subcontractors understand and comply with company policies, project safety requirements, and applicable health, safety, environmental, and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training and Development

• Conduct HSES orientations, safety inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training for employees, workers, and subcontractors.
• Develop training materials, presentations, and instructional guides related to health, safety, environmental protection, and security.

2. Compliance and Safety Awareness

• Ensure that training programs comply with applicable Philippine Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, environmental regulations, and company HSES policies.
• Promote awareness of workplace hazards, accident prevention, environmental protection, and emergency response procedures.
• Communicate relevant HSES policies, procedures, and updates to project personnel.
• Prepare and maintain training attendance sheets, training reports, assessment results, and certificates of completion.
• Maintain an updated HSES training matrix and monitor employees' required training and competency qualifications.
• Assess participants' understanding of HSES procedures through written examinations, practical demonstrations, and other appropriate evaluation methods.
• Identify training gaps and recommend additional or refresher training as necessary.

5. Emergency Preparedness

• Conduct or assist in emergency response training, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and emergency drills.
• Provide training on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency equipment, and safety devices.

6. Coordination and Reporting

• Coordinate with project managers, HSE officers, subcontractors, and other relevant personnel regarding training needs and schedules.
• Assist in investigating training-related deficiencies and recommending corrective or preventive actions.
• Participate in HSES meetings, audits, inspections, and other activities related to training and competency development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Relevant educational background in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Appropriate HSE training certifications and trainer qualifications, as required by applicable regulations and project requirements.
• Knowledge of Philippine OSH standards, environmental compliance requirements, and construction site safety practices.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in conducting HSES training for construction personnel is an advantage.
• Must have Training of Trainor Certificate
• Willing to be assigned and relocated on the Project site - Luna Cadiz Negros Occidental

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
