Opportunity: FIFO HSE Advisor

Location: FIFO ex Perth, Western Australia

About the role:

We are currently seeking FIFO HSET Advisors for our clients within both underground and open-pit mining operations across WA. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effective execution of all HSE activities, contributing to the promotion of a strong culture on-site.

Requirements of the role:

• Minimum of Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
• Cert IV in Training and Assessing highly desirable
• ICAM or Audit qualifications desirable
• Experience within the mining industry - surface mining, underground, open-pit etc.

Responsibilities:

• Field leadership and interactions
• Guide, mentor and advise employees at all levels of the workforce on matters related to HSE
• Providing support to the wider HSET team function - including both the site and Perth-based team
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for future risk mitigation
• Collation and analysis of data and key metrics for reporting
• Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ management system
• Assisting/leading incident investigations
