About the role

Lead key HSE programs in safety, compliance, and wellbeing. Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies such as the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE) and client. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment laws, by-laws, and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mandatory safety, health, and environmental assessments in alignment with legal requirements
• Coordinate and conduct HSE programs at all project sites to ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and effective implementation of company HSE practices
• Plan and coordinate emergency drills, including fire, first aid, chemical spill, and other relevant simulations
• Perform workplace risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks
• Organize and deliver comprehensive HSE training, briefings, and induction sessions for employees
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, including workplace conditions, first aid equipment, and firefighting systems
• Investigate and document accidents/incidents thoroughly, providing analysis and recommendations for prevention
• Manage and proper handling, storage, disposal and documentation of scheduled waste
• Track and rectify Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions (UCUA) findings to ensure proper corrective action and site safety compliance
• Maintain safety related documentation, reports, and communication materials

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Safety and Health/Science/Engineering
• Valid Yellow Book from DOSH
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Solar Industries
• 2 years experience in HSE roles
• Able to write work report by using Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and possess a high sense of responsibility

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
