What they need
hatch I.T. is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare technology company to find a HubSpot Developer. See details below:
About the Role:
As a HubSpot Engineer (Developer) , you will design, develop, integrate, automate, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade solutions on the HubSpot platform.
This contracting role extends beyond administration and requires hands-on engineering experience with HubSpot APIs, webhooks, private apps, programmable automation, custom-coded workflow actions, custom CRM extensions, data synchronization, and integration services.
You will build secure, scalable solutions connecting HubSpot with Salesforce, Okta, Snowflake, enterprise data platforms, custom applications, and approved SaaS platforms while supporting real-time, near-real-time, asynchronous, and batch integration patterns.
Solutions must align with enterprise standards for HIPAA, PHI, PII, privacy, API security, encryption, identity, auditability, resilience, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
Responsibilities:
HubSpot Development & Extensibility
- Design and develop advanced HubSpot solutions using custom objects, associations, programmable automation, custom-coded workflow actions, CRM extensions, UI extensions, serverless functions, and approved custom applications.
- Apply reusable engineering patterns and platform guardrails to extend HubSpot while appropriately using native functionality to reduce complexity and long-term technical debt.
API & Enterprise Integrations
- Build secure integrations using HubSpot REST APIs, CRM APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, private apps, and middleware to connect Salesforce, Okta, Snowflake, enterprise systems, and third-party services.
- Engineer real-time, near-real-time, asynchronous, and batch integrations with robust pagination, rate-limit management, idempotency, retries, exception handling, monitoring, and reconciliation.
Lead & Marketing Automation Engineering
- Develop technical solutions supporting lead capture, enrichment, scoring, lifecycle progression, qualification, routing, nurture, campaign processing, Sales-to-Marketing handoff, and customer engagement workflows.
- Implement scalable workflow and integration logic that supports Marketing Hub and Sales Hub operations while preventing circular automation, duplicate processing, and conflicting cross-platform updates.
Data, Security & Compliance Engineering
- Develop high-volume data migration and synchronization solutions with validation, transformation, duplicate prevention, field mapping, data quality, reconciliation, and system-of-record controls.
- Implement secure authentication, token handling, secrets management, least-privilege access, encryption, audit logging, and PHI/PII protection aligned with enterprise and regulated healthcare requirements.
DevOps, Testing & Production Support
- Partner with DevOps and QA teams on Git-based source control, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment validation, release management, observability, and production-readiness practices.
- Provide L2/L3 engineering support, troubleshoot API/workflow/synchronization failures, perform root-cause analysis, optimize performance, and maintain technical designs, runbooks, and integration documentation.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software, CRM, application, or integration engineering experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on HubSpot development or advanced HubSpot engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot APIs, CRM APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, private apps, custom objects, custom-coded workflow actions, and programmable automation.
- Strong development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or comparable languages and modern REST-based integration practices.
- Experience integrating HubSpot with Salesforce or comparable enterprise CRM platforms, including bidirectional synchronization and high-volume data processing.
- Strong understanding of API limits, pagination, retries, idempotency, asynchronous processing, error handling, security, testing, source control, and CI/CD.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, documentation, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HubSpot development/platform certifications and/or relevant Salesforce development or integration certifications.
- Experience with Snowflake, Okta, AWS/Azure/GCP, event-driven architecture, enterprise messaging, or data platforms.
- Experience in Healthcare or another regulated industry involving HIPAA, PHI, PII, privacy, auditability, or sensitive-data controls.
- Experience with enterprise CRM modernization, CRM migration, Salesforce/HubSpot coexistence, or Marketing/Sales technology transformation programs.
- Familiarity with observability, application performance monitoring, secure coding reviews, vulnerability remediation, and enterprise release governance.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Extensive use of computers and keyboard; occasional walking, lifting, and travel may be required.
