About the role

This role combines accounting and human resources responsibilities, managing financial transactions, payroll, employee records, and administrative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance-related activities, including recording and maintaining financial transactions
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank reconciliation and assist with monthly financial reporting
• Monitor company expenses and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle payroll processing, staff attendance, leave, and claims
• Manage employee records, documentation, and HR-related administrative matters
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation
• Assist in statutory submissions and compliance matters such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB
• Handle staff enquiries and support day-to-day HR operations

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous experience in accounting and/or human resources is preferred
• Experience in the retail industry is an added advantage
• Familiar with payroll, employee records, recruitment, and HR administration
• Knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, organised, responsible, and trustworthy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle confidential information professionally
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
