About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resource Executive to join our team in Bandar Kinrara, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the operational and strategic human resources functions across our organisation. As a Human Resource Executive, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR activities that directly impact our employee experience and contribute to the overall success of ZOK NOODLE HOUSE. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your HR career whilst working for a growing and ambitious company within the food and beverage sector.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the full recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening candidates, conducting interviews and coordinating with hiring managers
• Administering payroll, leave management, and employee records in compliance with Malaysian employment legislation
• Handling employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures and performance management
• Coordinating employee induction and onboarding programmes to ensure new team members are successfully integrated into the organisation
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and guidelines
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases
• Assisting with training and development initiatives to support employee growth and skill enhancement
• Liaising with external bodies such as labour departments and insurance providers on HR-related matters
• Contributing to workplace health, safety and wellness programmes
• Providing general HR support and advice to employees and management across the organisation

What we're looking for

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience working in a Human Resources role, ideally within the food and beverage, hospitality or service industry
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and labour regulations
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism
• Professional HR certifications such as CIPD or equivalent are advantageous
